Lily: Manager, Strategy Consulting at Sapient Global Markets
Lily had an honor bachelor’s degree in Financial Economics and Mathematics dual majors from University of Rochester and a master’s degree in Operations Research from Columbia University in the City of New York. She currently serves as a manager at Sapient Global Markets. She is mainly responsible for clients such as leading Investment Banking, Asset Management and Post-trade Financial Services institutes across New York and Boston, and performing Business Strategy advisory, Target Operating Model define and design, Data Analytics and Data Management and IT Consulting, etc. Lily has more than 5 years of experiences in financial services. Prior to joining Sapient Global Markets, Lily has internship experience as a Corporate Banking Analyst at JPMorgan Chase, a Global Wealth Management Analyst at UBS, and Premier Financial Advisory Analyst at HSBC.

Mia: Quartz Core UI Tech Lead, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch.
Mia gained a bachelor’s degree in Electoral and Electronic Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Computer Engineering from University of Michigan, and her master’s degree of Computer Science from Columbia University in the City of New York. Currently, she serves as UI Tech Lead of Quartz Core, a cross-product trading and risk management platform at Bank of America, Merrill Lynch. Before joining BAML, Mia interned in Barclays, and finished the 1.5-year full-time rotation program. Besides working in the financial industry, Mia also did a summer internship in Bing Search team at Microsoft, and had 3 years of experiences in Algorithm Teaching Assistant.

Peng: Credit Risk Manager in HSBC
Peng graduated from Tsinghua University with a Bachelor degree in Engineering Physics and earned a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University. He is currently a credit Manager at HSBC in Chicago, where he serves credit risk. His main responsibilities include new reserve regulation IFRS 9 modeling practice, drafting pilot model on a prime mortgage portfolio by account-level EL modeling, and designing the new business process for future IFRS 9 reserve model, etc. Peng had more than 5 years of experiences in risk management and modeling.
